Brought about by Warm Audio's team of expert engineers to deliver crisp vocal reproduction for singers, rappers, podcasters, and live streamers, the 512 AUDIO Skylight condenser microphone features build quality, tone, and accessories that extend beyond its price class. Like all of Warm Audio's pro audio gear, the Skylight mic is designed to produce a great sound without gratuitous tweaking after the recording.
It boasts a large-diaphragm gold-plated condenser capsule and a 5 kHz treble boost, yielding a combination of balanced midrange, inviting lows, and extra brightness to make your voice stand out. Skylight's directional cardioid polar pattern captures your voice with far less background noise than omnidirectional and figure-8 mics, and loud sounds such as shouts and screams won't distort the mic. The included low-profile shockmount decouples the microphone from stand-borne vibrations that can cause low-end rumble while the custom pop filter reduces vocal plosives such as strong "p" sounds. As a condenser mic, it requires phantom power, so be sure to connect its XLR 3-pin output to a mic preamp that can supply +48V.
From warm lows to natural midrange and a sculpted 5 kHz high-end boost, Skylight captures every nuance in your voice with the richness and warmth you'd expect from a professional microphone. Every aspect of Skylight's design has been architected to produce smooth, polished audio across the audible spectrum.
At the heart of Skylight is a large-diaphragm, classic-inspired, 34mm gold-plated condenser capsule. Integrating premium, professional components and proven circuit designs found in elite microphones, Skylight is built to reduce noise so that your voice shines through in the mix.
Built on Legacy
512 AUDIO is built on the professional legacy of vintage-inspired Warm Audio. Headquartered in Austin, TX, where creativity and innovation collide, their mission is to build professional gear for every creator who has something to say.
More of Your Voice
Skylight lets your voice come through loud and clear. The fixed cardioid pickup pattern captures what's in front of the mic and rejects surrounding ambient noise.
Custom Pop Filter
Capture cleaner audio with Skylight's custom-fitted, metal mesh pop filter. Easily tame distracting plosives created from troublesome consonants such as p, f, and s.
Skylight's durable, low-profile professional shockmount reduces unwanted vibrations and rumble for pristine recording.
