Looking to add some extra oomph to your kick drum or bass guitar amp recordings? Check out the SOLOMON MiCS LoFReQ, a purpose-built dynamic transducer microphone that's designed to be blended with a kick drum microphone to provide a deep bass response to your mix.
People have been DIYing a speaker for use as a low-frequency capture mic for years. SOLOMON have created a small package that's half the weight and half the price of the conventional DIY units. The LoFReQ features a 6.5" dynamic driver with a bidirectional polar pattern and a frequency response of 300 down to 25 Hz. It utilizes a standard 3-pin XLR connector and will attach to any mic stand with a 5/8" thread. The enclosure is made from a Tolex wrapped fiberboard shell and includes heavy-duty protective grilles.
- Customized in-line pad for controlled gain (gain and impedance designed to match a Beta 52)
- Attaches to a standard mic stand (5/8" fine thread)
- Tolex wrapped fiberboard shell
- Heavy-duty protective grilles
